As we count down to the 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards on Feb. 21, we will feature the shows nominated for Best Web Series, Comedy and Drama. Up next is Best Web Series (Drama) nominee, CASUAL, the story a 'casual' relationship between a Guy (ISA Lead Actor nominee Brian Thomas Smithand) a Girl (Lauren Marini) who feel their way through the aftermath of a one night stand. Written and directed beautifully by ISA nominee Jay Diaz (nominated for both), CASUAL tells a sweet long-story everyone can relate to if you've ever fallen in love. The entire series is shot and edited beautifully as well.
In 2011, the back and forth of the relationship between the leads continued as CASUAL aired its third and final season. In a come-full-circle ending back in the fall, the show left fans with a satisfying conclusion to the characters they fell in love with from the very first episode.
