As we count down to the 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards on Feb. 21, we will feature the shows nominated for Best Web Series, Comedy and Drama. Up next is Best Web Series (Comedy) nominee, PRETTY, created by the masterful Steve Silverman. The show picked up 13 ISA nominations this year (more than any other show) and is also up for the Fan's Choice Award. Stacey McQueen and Sam Pancake lead an all-star cast which won the ISA Best Ensemble Award in 2011. For fans of daytime soap operas who haven't checked out PRETTY yet, you will notice a lot of familiar faces: Genie Francis, Denise Alexander, Martha Byrne, Terrell Ransom Jr. are all appearing in Season 3 which is currently running. Some of our favorite web series stars like Anthony Anderson of ANACOSTIA and Brendan Bradley from SQUATTERS also appear.
McQueen plays six-year-old Annette Champagne, who is currently competing in the Miss Black Star Eyes pageant. There is nothing else like it in any medium of entertainment so don't miss out!
