Stars Of NBC's SMASH Honor Marilyn Monroe On 50th Anniversary Of Her Death
On Sunday, the cast of SMASH honored the 50th anniversary of the death of big screen icon Marilyn Monroe, who died of an overdose on August 5, 1962.

The cast, including Debra Messing, Megan Hilty and Christian Borle, took a break from filming on the New York City set and posed for photos, holding up a handmade sign that read, "Remembering Marilyn."

Messing also shared a Monroe quote on Twitter: "A career is wonderful thing, but you can't snuggle up to it on a cold night."

Hilty re-tweeted the post: "Can we get Rip Marilyn Monroe trending worldwide? R.I.P to this beautiful icon of the 20th century! Never forgotten!"

LONGMIRE's Bailey Chase compares his time on AS THE WORLD TURNS as Chris Hughes to boot camp
"I feel like – for me and probably for most actors – it’s boot camp, at least in the beginning. It was a great training ground for me, I logged a lot of hours in front of the camera and at that point, I felt a real growth, like I got over myself a little bit, my vanity and things like that. It’s about just showing up and the work. I feel like at that point, by the time I was done with that, it was like, “Okay, I’m a professional actor, this is what I do” [laughs]. And I felt like I earned it at that point. It’s hard doing daytime because of the demands. And I think that’s why the finished product suffers a little bit, because there’s never any time."

Hayden Panettiere Gets 'Bratty and Snotty' – in NASHVILLE
"My character, Juliette Barnes, is very edgy," Panettiere, 22, says of her on-screen alter ego in a preview of the series, which premieres Oct. 10. "She comes off very diva-ish and bratty and snotty sometimes."

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL's Sean Kanan married
During a trip to Italy in July, Sean Kanan (ex-Deacon, B&B/Y&R) exchanged vows with Michele Vega. "We covered probably 15 different cities and small towns and had our honeymoon in Sicily," smiles the actor. "We had an unbelievable time."

UK 1970s soap GENERAL HOSPITAL to be released on DVD
Network DVD is releasing the first season of the daytime version of GENERAL HOSPITAL on DVD later this month. Sadly not all of the episodes from the first series are present in the archives meaning the release contains the only episodes known to still exist. The missing episodes are believed to have long since been wiped; a common policy across television in the 1960s and '70s.

Will Jason Stackhouse Die on TRUE BLOOD?
If you blinked during Sunday night's trailer for the final three episodes of True Blood, you may have missed one heck of a spoiler.

The trailer showed an image of what appears to be a dead Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) in a grave next to Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll). Did Sookie's brother meet his maker, then get turned into a vampire like Tara (Rutina Wesley)? The evidence seems to be in the photo. Jessica is curling up next to him, or going to ground, as the vamps call it. There is even dirt already thrown onto Jason.

In Alan Ball’s final season as show runner, “True” seems to have about 30 characters and just as many stories.
