DAYSaster: August DAYS OF OUR LIVES Preview

When DAYS OF OUR LIVES returns on August 13 after the Olympics wraps up on NBC, the aftermath of the "DAYSaster" will find the residents of Salem in precarious positions. Some are "trapped in collapsed buildings, some have to climb their way out of sunken holes, while others learn to make due by canoodling with unlikely paramours."

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD

A new video preview from EW.com seems to reveal a lot of the outcome.  Sometimes previews can be misleading and DAYS story tends to leaked early (especially with Canada airing the show a day ahead of the United States), but here's what was revealed:

* John was consoling Brady (implying Madison, played by the fired Sarah Brown, doesn't survive).  Says Brady, "I wasn't there when she needed me."
* Jack, played by the fired Matt Ashford, is the only person not rescued off an elevator about to collapse.
* Nicole is grateful to Daniel for saving her child's life.
* Ian barks at Kate, "I used you!"  Her reply: a slap across his face.
* Will kisses Sonny, who pulls back and say, "Wow.  What the hell is wrong with you?"
* Gabi proclaims to Chad: "I never wanted Melanie to get hurt. Never."
* Rafe arrests Sami.
* Ian seems to have EJ locked up and then reveals something behind a curtain.

  1. Wow - this is the DAYS we've been waiting for. Too bad we've already known who was leaving the show months ago.

  2. A little mistake there, Roger. Rafe arrests Sami, while EJ and Sami are shown kissing. ;-)

    I'm excited for DAYS again. This promo looks really good. Can't wait for next week.

  3. Thanks, Daniel. EJ arresting Sami? LOL

    It looks like things are actually happening which is good. Some days it felt like not much was going on. I wish there was a way for us to know absolutely nothing about what's happening backstage for a while to see how that impacted everyone's enjoyment of the show.
