Sunday Night Ratings: DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES Up, ONCE UPON A TIME, GCB Steady

The Sunday night Nielsen ratings are in.  Below is a roundup of May 6 ratings reports:

From THR:
A rising AMERICA'S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS, up half of a point, started the night with a 2.0 with 18-49-ers, followed by an even ONCE UPON A TIME at 3.0 and a buoyed DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, up three tenths of a point for a 2.8 as its series finale approaches. Bubble show GCB ended its freshman season even with a 1.8 in the demo.

From Hitfix:
The "GCB" finale averaged 5.67 million viewers and despite an improved lead-in, went down slightly with a 1.8 key demo rating.

From ABC:
During the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's Season Finale "GCB" once again dominated its freshman drama competition, beating CBS' "NYC 22" by 38% in Adults 18-49 (1.8/5 vs. 1.3/3) and by 28% in Adults 25-54 (2.3/5 vs. 1.8/4). In addition, the new ABC drama ranked No. 1 in the hour with key Women (W18-34/W18-49). 

* Growing its overall audience for the 2nd straight telecast, "GCB" hit its highest numbers in 6 weeks in Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Adults 25-54 (tie) - since 3/25/12. 

* On average during its freshman season, "GCB" improved its time period by wide margins year to year in Total Viewers (+21% - 7.5 million vs. 6.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (+44% - 2.6/7 vs. 1.8/5).
