PREVIEW: Monday Night ABC Family Soaps THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER & MAKE IT OR BREAK IT

Grace struggles with accepting a new member of her family, and a heat wave makes everyone a little on edge, on an all‐new episode of THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER,  Monday, April 23 (8:00 – 9:00 p.m. ET/PT) on ABC Family.

In the one‐hour episode, “The Beach is Back,” Grace is horrified when Jacob decides to enroll in summer school with her, and looks to Adrian and Jack for support.

Dylan and her friends infiltrate Grant High just so she can spend a day with Ben.

Amy is cranky with the pressure of summer school and home life, leaving Ricky to bear the brunt of her short temper.

Kathleen is floundering as she tries to make sense of her husband’s secrets.



The series cast includes Shailene Woodley, Ken Baumann, Mark Derwin, India Eisley, Greg Finley, Daren Kagasoff, Megan Park, Francia Raisa with Steve Schirripa and Molly Ringwald. In “Suddenly Last Summer,” the guest stars include Anne Ramsay, Beverly Mitchell, Renee Olstead, Camille Winbush, Allen Evangelista, Amy Rider, Ana Lucasey, Valerie Tian, Katelyn Tarver, Christian Serratos, Larry Clarke, Jordan Fisher and Michael Grant Special guest stars include Jennifer Coolidge and Josie Bissett.

Some dreams come to an end as the girls compete in the semi-qualifications to make the official Olympics team in "Dream On‚" on MAKE IT OR BREAK IT (9:00 — 10:00 p.m. ET/PT).

As the girls inch closer to final team selections‚ they must first pass the semi-qualifications. But that is easier said than done as they each face problems: Kelly must deal with her mom (special guest star Kathy Najimy) being in town and out for Kaylie’s blood‚ Lauren stresses over Payson constantly watching her about her health‚ and there’s a mole in the group‚ trying to sabotage the team.

Meanwhile‚ Coach Mac’s mandatory curfew puts a kink in Payson’s love life.



MAKE IT OR BREAK IT is executive produced by Holly Sorensen‚ Paul Stupin and John Ziffren.   The series stars Ayla Kell‚ Josie Loren and Cassie Scerbo.
