Well I always thought it was nice that Ruth Warrick was still in the other opening. But it is a nice opening. Very fresh. Too bad the writing can't be that fresh!
It's all right. I am thankful that they wisely kept the great theme that is only second to the original. But somehow the visuals didn't match up as well with the music this time.
Nonetheless, I hope that OLTL is next on their list and the theme is discarded for something better. I'd even take "Champagne & Nobody" again over the current noise.
(NelsonAspen) I'd give it a "B minus." A new opener is LONG overdue and I'm glad they kept the "photo album" motif at least at the end and featured the Kane Dames as the last shot. Why not spring for a new theme while you're at it? That said, IMO it looks like pretty amateur-ish. I've seen better fan vids on YouTube.
