VIDEO: The Hollywood Christmas Parade
ALL MY CHILDREN star Susan Lucci (Erica) ushered in the holiday season as Grand Marshal of "The 2009 Hollywood Christmas Parade." The jolly stars, joined by Santa Claus, traveled down the famed Hollywood Boulevard, waving to fans on either side of the street.

Lucci told ET, "This is such an incredible welcome gesture from the City of Los Angeles to me, but also to 'All My Children' because we're moving here very shortly, right after the New Year." She said that the show's relocation will allow the plots to be "more expansive in our storytelling."

"We'd never had an Emmy for makeup for ALL MY CHILDREN, and it had been on for something like 25 years. I sat down with the director and said we needed a script that covered all the bases," allowing for special-effects makeup as well as the usual beauty-queen stuff. Lo and behold, the right script came along that included a beautiful dressy party and a plane crash."

DAYS stars Molly Burnett and Casey Deidrick will appear at Indy zoo
The actors will appear at Indianapolis Zoo’s Christmas at the Zoo (CATZ) on Dec. 5. The Zoo opens at noon, and CATZ activities begin at 5pm. Burnett and Deidrick will be at the Indianapolis Zoo from around 5pm-8pm. They will participate in the 6:30pm Dolphin Show, various other activities, and will sign autographs in the North Pavilion/Santa’s Village presented by Community Health Network.

Tamara Tunie (ex-Jessica, ATWT) to host Hearts of Gold gala
“I was invited to a gala about five years ago through a friend who is president (Jack Gindi),” said actress Tamara Tunie about how she became involved in the non-profit organization. “I was impressed with the organization. It is such a grassroots organization. Her drive (Founder and Executive Director Deborah Koenigsberger) impressed me. If you ever met a person no one can say no to she is the person.”

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS was the second most searched show on Yahoo! Canada in 2009 behind AMERICAN IDOL.

EASTENDERS wins diversity award
EASTENDERS was applauded for its positive portrayal of disabled people last night, at the 2009 RADAR People of the Year Awards, which celebrate diversity across a wide spectrum of industries. The long-running BBC1 soap scooped the Doing Media Differently Award: Fictional Programming prize after it “positively portrayed” a range of disabled characters over the last 12 months.
