MELROSE PLACE (1.6 million, 1.1/2) - Heather Locklear's debut

EDITOR'S NOTES: According to the daily ratings from SON, James Franco made little impact on GENERAL HOSPITAL with debut. On his first full day on Friday, November 20, the episode that was advertised, GH actually had their second lowest viewer total of the week.

Heather Locklear also failed to make much impact to MELROSE PLACE. With the ABC Family soaps on hiatus, MELROSE was the lowest rated of all the soaps for the week.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES tied THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL for second place in household ratings with a 2.3 rating and 8 share.

The Univision primetime soaps continued to outperform The CW soaps by a large margin.

1 comment:

  1. James Franco is not a BIG star. He doesn't have widespread household name recognition. Franco has had mostly supporting roles.

If anyone is surprised by the ratings, they now have a reality check. Brad Pitt, Robert Pattison, Angelina Jolie, etc. would be able to draw in viewers but even then...
