Tuesday Ratings: 90210 Steady, MELROSE Falls

The ratings are out for Tuesday night and the new MELROSE PLACE fell 20% since last week's premiere.

At CW, 90210 (1.2/4 in 18-49, 2.4 million viewers overall) was in line with its week-earlier second-season premiere, but the second episode of MELROSE PLACE (1.0/3 in 18-49, 1.8 million viewers overall) fell off more than 20% from its series launch. In the net's core demo of women 18-34, 90210 placed second in its timeslot (2.3/7) and "Melrose" settled for fourth (1.7/5).

  1. Melrose Place is simple a bad show.

  2. I think it hurts that they killed off the only returning character from the first show. With 90210 they have Kelly, occasionally Brenda and Donna but with Melrose we get Ashley Simpson and newbies. They should of shelled out some bucks for Lisa Rinna at least.
