Frankie Negrón to Perform on ONE LIFE TO LIVE

Salsa sensation Frankie Negrón will bring his celebrated music to ABC Daytime's ONE LIFE TO LIVE when he performs on AUGUST 4. The accomplished singer-songwriter will perform "Holding on to Love" from his first English language album, "Independence Day" (scheduled to be released on September 23, 2009 on Airgo Music http://www.airgomusic.com). ONE LIFE TO LIVE fans will be treated to a unique version of Mr. Negrón's single, which he co-wrote, when he performs in both English and Spanish for a private rooftop performance for Todd (Trevor St. John) and Tea (Florencia Lozano).

"I am very excited to welcome a unique artist like Frankie Negrón to ONE LIFE TO LIVE," said Supervising Music Director Paul Glass. "The muliti-platinum, Grammy nominated Latin artist is the perfect fit for the intimate performance we have planned. His romantic ballad, 'Holding on to Love,' is a wonderful complement to the live music we have featured on the show."

The platinum-selling artist began performing as a child. He continued to hone his talents at the School of Performing Arts in Newark, NJ and went on to appear on Broadway by the age of 20. He was signed to WEA by the age of 17 and released seven albums between 1997 and 2003, followed by two more albums with Sony Music before signing with the independent record company, Airgo Music.

"It's exciting," said Mr. Negrón. "ONE LIFE TO LIVE has been around forever, and there have been some great singers and actors who've appeared on the show over the years. It's an honor to be among them, but I think my wife and mother are more excited than I am. They've been fans of the show forever, they're really getting a kick out of it."
