You may have noticed a new logo on the AS THE WORLD TURNS videos at CBS.com and AsTheWorldTurns.net lately, and in advertisements around the web. I'm not sure if we'll be seeing this on the actual show soon (I'll ask), but I do like it.
I don't think it looks cheap. Especially not when you the animated logo in the cbs.com video's. I prefer simplistic logo's so that's probably part of why I like this one.
An ad with the spinning version randomly appears at the top of this site as well.
The AsTheWorldTurns.net website still uses the old logo although the new videos that play there have this logo at the end. I'm not sure why they would even design it if it wasn't going to be used for something else at the end of videos most fans probably don't see.
A lot of shows do title cards now, but I really do not like that trend.
I like this new logo too, Roger. I hope they will use it for a new opening. I'm tired of the WHOOOSH-opening (lol) we have now.
