HOLLYOAKS Going Late Night Again

E4 has announced another week-long series of LATE NIGHT HOLLYOAKS, a 5 x 60-minute spin-off of the Channel 4 teen soap. It will have a standalone storyline but some elements of the plot will be interweaved with the main show.

Bryan Kirkwood, who stood down as HOLLYOAKS producer at the end of last year to develop other projects within Lime Pictures, will produce the spin-off series.

Lime has produced eight late-night versions of the soap since 2000, but last autumn's HOLLYOAKS LATER was the first to debut on E4. It was produced by Lucy Allen, who has since taken over from Kirkwood as the main series producer.

LATE NIGHT HOLLYOAKS is in pre-production and will air in September.
