The "New" ALL MY CHILDREN, Part 2 — Finding the Heart (s) of Pine Valley
Marlena De Lacroix writes: "Today’s memorial episode for Myrtle (the late Eileen Herlie) was wonderful, full of so many clips. Erica beat me to it, when at the memorial service she called Myrtle 'the heart of Pine Valley.' And so she was, one of many in the long history of this very heartful show."

New love interest for UGLY BETTY
Multiple sources confirm to Michael Ausiello that Daniel Eric Gold (Charlie Wilson's War) has been cast in the recurring role of Matt, a seemingly Henry-esque hottie with whom Betty meets at YETI (Young Editors' Training Initiative).

DESPERATE's Gale Harold still seriously injured?
"He's really very majorly injured," remarked a source close to both Harold and the DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES set to E!. "I don't believe he'll be coming back."

Harold's rep insisted there's nothing to be concerned with regarding her client: "He is fine. Your source is wrong."

Reckell happy despite all the recent bad soap news
DAYS star Peter Reckell (Bo) sees a ray of (pardon the pun) hope. In the 12/30 issue, the actor tells Soap Opera Digest, "Over the last couple of months, I have had writing that I was like, 'Wow, this isn't like daytime. It's like people talking.'"

Tiffani Thiessen denies being pregnant
Former BEVERLY HILLS, 90210 star Tiffani Thiessen has denied rumors she is pregnant with her first child. The 34-year-old has been at the center of growing speculation she is set to start a family with husband Brady Smith.

The couple married in 2005 and earlier this year the actress expressed her desire to start having children, telling People.com, "We've been married for almost three years, so it's time. We wanted to be selfish with each other for a little while. We didn't want to rush into it, but now we're really, really wanting that."

But Ame Van Iden, a representative for the star, insists she is not expecting.

She tells tells Hollyscoop.com, "Tiffani is not pregnant. (She) is busy working on a pilot, WHITE COLLAR, for (Network) USA."

Reichen Lehmkuhl "too out" for soaps?
Reichen Lehmkhul, best known for winning the first AMAZING RACE, is now writing a column for Advocate.com. He talks about being out in Hollywood.

"I have auditioned for movie roles, soap opera parts, and other television roles where the final decision of 'no' came down to the fact that I'm just 'too out.' Not 'too stereotypically gay,' but 'too out.'"
