Daytime Nielsen Ratings For Week of Nov. 17-21, 2008

From the ABC ratings release:
* With just a few days to factor in for the November 08 sweeps period, ABC is set to rank as Daytime's No. 1 network in Women 18-49 (1.4 rating/906,000).

* Sweeps 08 to Date, "The View" is delivering the largest increases over year-ago levels, climbing by impressive double-digit percentages in Total Viewers (20%; 4.32 million vs. 3.56 million) and Women 18-49 (11%; 1.01 million vs. 910,000).

* Maintaining its pre-Presidential election momentum, the past five weeks - since week of 10/20/08 - rank among "The View's" Top 6 most-watched weeks in its storied 12-year history: 4.67 million (week of 11/3/08), 4.33 million (week of 10/27/08), 4.24 million (week of 10/20/08), 4.17 million (week of 11/10/08*) and 4.14 million (week of 11/17/08).

* Daytime's No. 1 network for the fourth straight week in Women 18-49, ABC was home to 3 of the Top 5 programs in the key demo: "The View" (No. 2 - 1.01 million/1.5 rating), "General Hospital" (No. 3 - 909,000/1.4 rating) and "One Life to Live" (No. 4 - 830,000/1.3 rating).
