Former Best Supporitng Actress Oscar winner Shirley Jones is joining the cast of "Days of our Lives" in 2008. Her character is listed as TBA at this point by Soap Opera Digest.Back in 2006, Ms. Jones appeared in Lifetime TV's "Monarch Cove" with several current and former soap stars including Stephen Martines, Virginia Williams and Kieren Hutchison.
She may be best known as the mother on the hit 70s TV show, "The Partridge Family."
