GENERAL HOSPITAL's Jason Cook is leaving the soap and the character of Matt next month, according to Soap Opera Digest. DAYS OF OUR LIVES fans are already speculating if this could mean a return for the actor to that show and the role Shawn. Cook has a number of other projects in the works (see links below).

I am sorry to see him go. He had such promise with Kirsten when he first arrived but the writers never wrote him well. Hope you land on your feet Jason and thanks for the great Job.
