Actor/Model/Home Designer Rib Hillis will be taking over the role of Matthew Johnson on THE BAY. Matthew is the closeted nurse last seen making eyes at Press Secretary Kenneth Allen (Brody Hutzler).Hillis broke into acting in the late '90s, playing Dr. Jake Marshak on the short-lived General Hospital spinoff PORT CHARLES. He has also showed up on a number of popular primetime series, including CSI: MIAMI, ANGEL and UGLY BETTY.
Hillis will tape his first scenes for THE BAY on Wednesday.
Terri Ivens, best known for her role as Simone Torres on ALL MY CHILDREN, has been cast in the role of spicy call girl ‘Orchid’ on THE DARK SIDE OF THE BAY. Orchid is set to cause trouble for the already troubled Peter Garrett (KRISTOS ANDREWS) when young Peter ventures to the wrong side of Bay City! Additional credits for Ivens include appearances on the TV series MARRIED WITH CHILDREN, ACME HOLLYWOOD DREAM ROLE, and the TV movie PIRANHACONDA.
Massi Furlan, also known as GENERAL HOSPITAL’s bad boy ‘Giovanni’ during Brenda Barrett‘s last return, joins the cast of THE DARKSIDE OF THE BAY as another hardcore bad guy known as ‘Anton’, wingman to the DARKSIDE’s kingpin. Additional acting credits for Furlan include the upcoming Batman movie THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, TV series AIM HIGH and ONE TREE HILL.
