Ratings: 'The Bold and the Beautiful' Up in Total Viewers

The Live + Same Day daytime ratings are in for the week of September 14-18, 2015, the final week of the 2014-2015 television season. The Bold and the Beautiful was the only soap to gain viewers week over week (+100K). The show is also the only one of the four daytime dramas that's up year-over-year in total viewers.

Below is a breakdown of the daytime soap opera Nielsen ratings by category:

Women 18-49 Viewers
1. The Young and the Restless 667,000 (+5,000/-121,000)
2. The Bold and the Beautiful 583,000 (+42,000/+6,000)
3. General Hospital 521,000 (+34,000/-91,000)
4. Days of our Lives 429,000 (-84,000/-148,000)

Women 18-34 Viewers
1. The Young and the Restless 166,000 (+16,000/-65,000)
2. General Hospital 159,000 (+13,000/-25,000)
3. The Bold and the Beautiful 147,000 (+18,000/-29,000)
4. Days of our Lives 124,000 (-33,000/-29,000)

Women 25-54 Viewers
1. The Young and the Restless 1,000,000 (-8,000/-110,000)
2. The Bold and the Beautiful 853,000 (+51,000/+22,000)
3. General Hospital 718,000 (+53,000/-99,000)
4. Days of our Lives 552,000 (-72,000/-153,000)

For the 2014-2015 season, The Bold and the Beautiful averaged 3.94 million viewers, up +2% and the daytime drama's largest audience since the 2005-06 television year. The Young and the Restless delivered 5.21M, a +1% increase from a year ago and its largest audience since the 2009-10 television year.
