'Days of our Lives' Adds 'All My Children' and 'Guiding Light' Alum Jordi Vilasuso

Former Guiding Light and All My Children star Jordi Vilasuso is headed to Days of our Lives, according to a new report by Serial Scoop's Michael Goldberg. The name of his character has not been revealed but he apparently will a connection to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).

Earlier this summer, Vilasuso starred in the Hulu drama South Beach as crime lord Isaac Santero, who plotted to seize control of Miami's drug trade.

Vilasuso previously starred as Tony Santos on Guiding Light, winning a Daytime Emmy in 2003, and Dr. Griffin Castillo on All My Children.

UPDATE:
NBC has confirmed Vilasuso will be playing Dario Hernandez.

    Good actor. I really enjoyed him on GL and AMC. I wasn't a big fan of the hulu series he appeared in, but it had nothing to do with his performance. I wondered if it was Dario as well.
