Soap Opera Ratings: Good Week for 'Days of our Lives' and 'General Hospital'

For the week of August 11-15, 2014, Days of our Lives was up for the third consecutive week in Total Viewers (+59K), as well as viewers in the key demographics: Women 18-34 (+14K) and Women 25-54 (+10K). General Hospital was up in Total Viewers (+74K), Women 18-49 (+17K) and Women 25-54 (+35K). Check out a breakdown of the Nielsen ratings below:

Women 18-49 Viewers
1. The Young and the Restless 680,000 (+7,000/-84,000)
2. General Hospital 619,000 (+17,000/+15,000)
3. The Bold and the Beautiful 589,000 (-2,000/-54,000)
4. Days of our Lives 537,000 (-12,000/+6,000)

Women 18-34 Viewers
1. General Hospital 178,000 (same/-19,000)
2. Days of our Lives 161,000 (+14,000/-5,000)
3. The Bold and the Beautiful 156,000 (-11,000/-20,000)
4. The Young and the Restless 153,000 (-26,000/-70,000)

Days earned its highest women 18-34 rating since the week of July 7-11 (0.5) and equaled its highest since the week of May 5-9 (0.6).
