Michael Muhney Not Returning to 'The Young and the Restless'

On Wednesday evening, former The Young and the Restless actor Michael Muhney tweeted that he would not be returning to the soap he was fired from last fall. Y&R has reportedly been trying to cast a new Adam Newman for several months now.

    I'm confused. Why would anyone believe that he would return to the show given the situation he left under? Besides, he, Billy Miller, Michelle Stafford, Tricia Cast AND Victoria Rowell could all return to the show and quality would not improve one iota as long as the writers and showrunner are still in place. I think Y&R is in the worst creative shape it has ever been in. Jill Farren Phelps is killing this show.

      I believe the actor has carefully chosen his words to make it appear as if Y&R considered bringing him back. There's no way that would happen after he groped Hunter King.
