5th Annual Indie Series Awards Inks Partnership for Live Stream
Exclusive broadcast provided by JTS.TV will happen on April 2, 2014
HOLLYWOOD, CA (March 20, 2014) – A deal has been made to bring ISA5, the 5th Annual Indie Series Awards, to a global audience on April 2, 2014. JTS.TV, a premium digital network offering its subscribers an ad-free, multi-platform viewing experience of the best short-form series and films distributed via the Internet, will host the live stream of the ceremony. The broadcast will also be archived and available via JTS.TV's mobile apps, Smart TV channels, and website for viewers to watch.
"I am so excited for this opportunity to partner with the Indie Series Awards and for JTS.TV to provide access to the awards show for those around the globe who cannot be there in-person," said Carter Mason, CEO of JTS.TV. “These awards feature the best digital series from around the world, and we are honored to be a part of this fantastic event!”
"One of our goals this year was to have a first class live stream, and we found the perfect broadcast partner in JTS.TV," said We Love Soaps LLC's Roger Newcomb, founder of the Indie Series Awards. "We are honoring some remarkable talent this year, and streaming the ceremony live via JTS.TV will allow more people than ever to see what incredible series are being produced in the indie web series space."
In their fifth year, the Indie Series Awards honor the best in independently produced, scripted entertainment created for the Web. Featuring a mix of daytime and primetime Emmy® award-nominees and winners, Broadway veterans and film stars plus rising newcomers from the web community, the ISAs have become a cutting edge event that unites all media platforms. A record breaking 56 shows received at least one nomination this year. After hosting the gala event in New York City for the previous four years, the ceremony has relocated to Los Angeles at the beautiful, historic El Portal Theatre in the heart of North Hollywood.
