Nominations for The 55th Annual Grammy Awards were announced on Wednesday by The Recording Academy. NBC’s returning musical soap opera SMASH was a nominee as Best Song Written for Visual Media ("Let Me Be Your Star" from series songwriters Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman; performed by Katharine McPhee and Megan Hilty).
