NEWS ROUNDUP: Dan Stevens Leaving DOWNTON; Shonda Rhimes Taking GREY'S "Back From The Fans"

The cast of Julian Fellowes’ Emmy Award-winning DOWNTON ABBEY has arrived in New York in anticipation of the U.S. premiere of Season 3. The stars attended last night’s New York Knicks game, which the Earl of Grantham (Hugh Bonneville) described as “basketamazeballs :-)”

And this morning, they checked off another tourist to-do item when they rode the subway.

Stevens (Matthew Crawley) is not expected to return for DOWNTON's fourth season — at least not on a full-time basis.

FX has ordered a pilot called TYRANT from producers Howard Gordon and Gideon Raff along with LOST writer Craig Wright. The show follows a family that gets drawn into turbulent Middle East politics when the dictator of an Arab state dies and his American son becomes the new head of the country.
