The musical, originally debuting Off-Off-Broadway in 1980, tells the tale of two lonely New York City singles who clash in their one-room apartments. The songs in the show are actually tunes cut from other Sondheim musicals, arranged to tell the story, and some brand new songs are being added to this production.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced Craig Zadan and Neil Meron will produce this year’s Oscars ceremony.

So she approaches boys differently, with a different kind of confidence and a different kind of maturity. There’s not as much, ‘Don’t mention sex.’”
