Ed Speleers Secures DOWNTON ABBEY Role
Speleers will play a footman in the latest series of the drama due to air later this year on commercial web ITV in the U.K.

Speleers follows Cara Theobold and Lucille Sharp into the long corridors of Downton, alongside Matt Milne and Shirley MacLaine for the upcoming series.

Ex-BROOKSIDE Actor Jailed In Connection With Doorman Murder
Brian Regan, who played Terry Sullivan in British soap opera BROOKSIDE, has been jailed for lying about his part in a gangland killing. Regan was sentenced to 4 years and 10 months on January 25 for his part in the killing of Liverpool bouncer Bahman Faraji.

Will Netflix Rescue ABC's THE RIVER?
Netflix, already in talks with 20th Century Fox TV about possibly picking up recently canceled Fox series TERRA NOVA, may also be eying another freshman drama facing cancellation: ABC’s THE RIVER.
