Speleers will play a footman in the latest series of the drama due to air later this year on commercial web ITV in the U.K.

Speleers follows Cara Theobold and Lucille Sharp into the long corridors of Downton, alongside Matt Milne and Shirley MacLaine for the upcoming series.

Ex-BROOKSIDE Actor Jailed In Connection With Doorman Murder
Brian Regan, who played Terry Sullivan in British soap opera BROOKSIDE, has been jailed for lying about his part in a gangland killing. Regan was sentenced to 4 years and 10 months on January 25 for his part in the killing of Liverpool bouncer Bahman Faraji.

Will Netflix Rescue ABC's THE RIVER?
Netflix, already in talks with 20th Century Fox TV about possibly picking up recently canceled Fox series TERRA NOVA, may also be eying another freshman drama facing cancellation: ABC’s THE RIVER.

MTV picks up docu-drama THE HEIGHTS
The show is a primetime docu-drama about a group of best friends living, working and playing in the New York neighborhood of Washington Heights.

Spears, repped by Stone Manners Salners and Golan & Blumberg, will play Mark Bradley, a charismatic co-anchor and close friend to talk show host Mary Jane (Gabrielle Union). Richard Roundtree will play Mary Jane’s father.

Coleman will play Chief Tim Granger, the demanding and intimidating chief of staff at Denver Memorial Hospital.

Sarah Jessica Parker Reaches Out to "Young Carrie Bradshaw" AnnaSophia Robb
Though Parker has reprised the role twice on the big screen, actress AnnaSophia Robb will get her chance to portray the beloved character in a new CW prequel, THE CARRIES DIARIES, premiering this fall.

"She sent me a letter! I wrote her one back, too," Robb, 18, told Us Weekly at the launch of Salvatore Ferragamo's Signorina fragrance in NYC Tuesday. "She was just very encouraging about it all. It was really cool!"
