AS THE WORLD TURNS' Marnie Schulenburg Joins Second Stage's "How I Learned To Drive"

DALLAS returns to city it made famous
"We're trying to give the show a real sense of place and Dallas has a real personality," said location manager John Patterson. "It's a city that does things in a big way. That's part of J.R. and part of what we try to give the show — a sense of the city, which is big, very well done, shiny, new and looking toward the future."

TNT has ordered 10 episodes of the series, set to air in summer 2012. Filming, entirely shot in Dallas, began mid-October and is expected to wrap in late January.

Filming a scene this fall, it's apparent that J.R. has lost none of his swagger. After striding into a sleekly designed Dallas home in his Western blazer and cowboy boots, he sits down and begins deal-making.

"The best way to understand a man is to talk to his friends and his enemies," J.R. says. "My friends are in the statehouse. My enemies are going to be harder to find."

Is PARKS AND REC the FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS of comedy?
James Poniewozik writes: "After rewatching 'Citizen Knope' (having gotten a screener earlier in the week), I tweeted half-jokingly that Parks and Recreation had become 'the FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS of comedy.' Jokingly, because the moving, optimistic ending to the episode made me mist up—not the first time this show has done that—which makes it a partial successor to FNL, which I used to refer to as 'Daddy’s cry time.' But only half-jokingly because there are actually some pretty legitimate reasons to make the comparison at this point."

John Aniston loving Jennifer's new man?
"Justin [Theroux] and John got along great from the moment they met. John feels that Justin has been wonderful for his daughter and says he's never been Jen happier. John would love nothing more than to see them walk down the aisle. He's told Justin he's willing to do whatever he can to help."

New Erinsborough family cast on NEIGHBOURS, set to arrive next year

NEIGHBOURS actor Sachin Joab responds to racist comments
Joab has hit out at a minority of NEIGHBOURS fans who have said it is "un-Australian" to cast the new family. NEIGHBOURS staff have since deleted several racist posts from their website, and have said "that racism and small-mindedness won't be tolerated".

The Australian-born actor told the Herald Sun: "There is various pockets that will say it is un-Australian to have an Indian or an Indian family on Ramsay St. Those Aussies who are saying it is un-Australian will be the same ones who pretty much supported the White Australia policy back in the day, you are never going to get away from that kind of stuff."
