Monday Night Ratings: THE PLAYBOY CLUB Struggles, NBC Yanks It From Schedule

We love NBC's new sudsy Monday night show, THE PLAYBOY CLUB, but the time slot and incompatible lead-in, THE SING OFF, seem to have killed the show. PLAYBOY fell 8% to a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating last night and was watched by 3.4 million views.

NBC has now. pulled THE PLAYBOY club from its schedule.

Despite saying last week that it would give new shows a chance to find an audience, NBC has removed THE PLAYBOY CLUB with no plans of it returning at this point. Brian Williams’s newsmagazine show, ROCK CENTER, will replace it starting on October 31.

The CW soaps matched last week's A18-49 ratings with GOSSIP GIRL and HART OF DIXIE scoring 0.7 and 0.8 ratings, respectively.

TERRA NOVA is maintaining its audience fairly well scoring a 3.1 A18-49 rating.

ABC won the night in total viewers with DANCING WITH THE STARS and CASTLE.

On cable, THE LYING GAME averaged 1.228 million viewers, with a 0.5/1 A18-49 and 1.2/3 W18-34 rating.
