RATINGS: THE PLAYBOY CLUB, TERRA NOVA, BOARDWALK EMPIRE & more, Where is DIRTY SOAP?

In the preliminary Nielsen numbers in from Monday night, THE PLAYBOY CLUB returned for its second week with a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating, down 19% from its premiere. Is THE PLAYBOY CLUB destined for the chopping block?

Meanwhile, TERRA NOVA had a 3.0 adults 18-49 rating, HART OF DIXIE a 0.7, and GOSSIP GIRL a 0.8.

CASTLE, starring former ONE LIFE TO LIVE actor Nathan Fillion, managed a 3.1 adults 18-49 rating--for the first half hour, at least.

In the preliminary Nielsen cable numbers in from Sunday night, BOARDWALK EMPIRE premiered with a disappointing 1.3 adults 18-49 rating. With 2.912 million viewers, it was down 39% from its first season premiere, and 12% from its first season finale (last December).

Meanwhile, BREAKING BAD had a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating, as did the season finale of DROP DEAD DIVA, which guest starred Deidre Hall of DAYS OF OUR LIVES.

On Monday night cable, THE LYING GAME had a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating, and 1.064 million viewers.

According to tvbythenumbers.com, DIRTY SOAP was not among the top rated 100 shows of Sunday, September 25, 2011. This is surprising, given that anecdotal audience reaction, and the sheer quantity of feedback we've received, would usually indicate healthy ratings. We'll have our own viewership data on DIRTY SOAP, from an exclusive audience survey, posted soon.

UPDATE:
E! put out a press release today touting its third quarter and September 2011 performance. DIRTY SOAP was not mentioned at all in the release which included most of its other original programs and SEX AND THE CITY reruns.
