ALL MY CHILDREN's Michael E. Knight Reflects on Soap's Cancellation and the Return of Dixie
"The choice to bring Tad and Dixie back together was made before this whole internet thing happened, when a reunion seemed like the right thing to do. Would they have made this choice if they knew we might be going forward with the show? I don't know. But I feel very lucky to have Cady back. It's a nice thing for me personally and karmically. But at the same time I have to say that I'm very impressed with Lindsay Hartley and have really enjoyed working"

DAYS OF OUR LIVES writer Demetrius Malone back with new play
The matriarch of the fictional Courtland family had the last word in Demetrius Malone's 2010 play “Diamonds”: “OK, family, what's it gonna be?” Fans want to know the same, and thanks to video previews for “The Dynasty of Diamonds,” the highly anticipated sequel, “they know someone gets married, someone gets divorced and someone dies,” Malone said. “But they have no idea who it is.”

Shelby Young leaving DAYS
Young, who has played Kinsey since 2009, is leaving Salem. She has already wrapped filming.

Former DAYS star Billy Hufsey helps others 'light up the sky like a flame'
You're at the Billy Hufsey School of Professional Performing Arts in Henderson where right now, a small, boisterous theater full of kids, tweens and teens, in tryouts for a production of "Bye Bye Birdie," are stomping their feet to "We Will (We Will) Rock You" (stomp! stomp!). Where in a next-door studio, the '80s-era teen idol -- his flowing curly hair of 30 years ago now sheared into a more appropriate (if still-longish) 'do befitting a 21st-century middle-age man -- addresses students in tones that make pedestrian instructions sound like cheerleading.

Indian director S.V. Krishna Reddy makes his U.S. directorial debut on "Divorce Invitation." Krishna Reddy, Bala Rajasekharuni and Robert Naturman wrote the screenplay.

Y&R's Jabot jumps from soap plots to store shelves
Being part of the Y&R cult certainly helps differentiate the line from competitive brands, but so too does the quality of the brand, said Caroline Pieper-Vogt, chief executive officer of Fusion Brands.

“We develop products that really have these hard working actors in mind,” she said. “We are the backstage Hollywood beauty secret and that give us a unique positions. We’re able to take the tips and tricks of these Hollywood actresses who know the tricks of the trade so we’ve developed the line with them and for them.”

Former ATWT star Tom Wiggin: Poor kids have a right to learn, too
Wigging talked to MSNBC about his work with Imago Dei Middle School which was founded in 2005 in Tucson, Ariz., and focuses on educating children that are poverty stricken. It is tuition free.

Said Wiggin: "Many kids come from backgrounds that can’t afford to go to schools that provide this kind of education. This school is a tuition-free school. Kids that might fall through the cracks (and) get into trouble are now actually getting a first-rate education, so they can go on to have a future."
