South African actress Terry Pheto has landed a role in world's most-watched soap opera, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.Pheto, who played the female lead in the Oscar winning movie Tsotsi, will join the cast on June 13. She will have a recurring role as a heart surgeon, said Werner Botes of Total Exposure PR company.
"This is the opportunity of a lifetime and I look forward to sharing the screen with my soapie heroes Katherine Kelly Lang and Susan Flannery, while sinking my thespian teeth into a challenging role," Los Angeles-based Pheto said.
The scenes with Pheto will be broadcast in South Africa in 2012.
