Bridges will reunite with Norma Rae co-star Sally Field for a romantic arc. Also, Calista Flockhart will miss Episode 100 as part of a three episode break.

"Soap opera fans are so loyal. It was fabulous, and a lot of people that came to see me with Ben, didn't even know that I sang. I had a whole new audience. They'd say, 'Oh, and you sing great, too!' [Laughs] I had a ball. And I have such an appreciation for those actors. I had to learn pages and pages of dialogue. They got it down. After a while, you get in the rhythm and you can hang."

Comcast formally names execs to rebuild NBC
As expected former Showtime boss Robert Greenblatt will run NBC Entertainment and former ABC and E! president Ted Harbert will run the business side of The Peacock. Syfy chief Bonnie Hammer will expand her duties as chairwoman of the cable entertainment division, supervising everything from E! to USA to Syfy, while Lauren Zalaznick will continue to run Bravo and Oxygen.
