DALLAS revealed who shot J.R. 30 years ago today on the "Who Done It?" episode which aired November 21, 1980. Sue Ellen's sister was the culprit but she never went to jail. She was pregnant with J.R.'s baby. It was the highest rated television episode in US history at the time with a Nielsen rating of 53.3 and a 76% share. It was estimated that 83 million people watched.
