PREVIEW: ABC's HAPPY TOWN

Haplin, Minnesota, is known as "Happy Town" on the new ABC drama HAPPY TOWN, premiering on Wednesday, April 28. But the quiet little community is actually quite mysteriously spooky and a killer called The Magic Man is making people disappear.

HAPPY TOWN stars former AS THE WORLD TURNS actor Steven Weber, and Ben Schnetzer, son of longtime ANOTHER WORLD favorite Stephen Schnetzer. Ben made his film debut in the independent film "Ben's Plan" in 2007, which also starred Stephen.

Can’t wait for the April 28 premiere date? Luckily, ABC has teamed with Eventful.com to offer you the chance to download the premiere episode before it airs. But you and 49,999 other people have to demand it. Eventful has set up a website to let you “demand” to see the Happy Town pilot early. Head over to Eventful.com and demand the show.

“This is one of those shows that for a year now I’ve been trying to figure out what that one liner is,” creator Geoff Stults said. “It’s hard for me to describe it. I keep constantly asking the creators to write something down and they still don’t know. I would say that it’s a small town mystery with hijinks. I don’t know, it takes a little bit more explaining that just a one liner but I would say it’s a small town mystery kind of comparable, I would say less TWIN PEAKS-y, more Stephen King-y.”
