NEWS: Morrison, 21st Century TV, AMC, Hayes

INTERVIEW: GLEE's Matthew Morrison (Will)
Morrison had this to say to Elle, "I grew up singing and dancing, so people have been calling me gay since fifth grade. I've heard everything you could possibly hear about it. But I do love gay people, so I'm not going to act like I was insulted or angry about it."

TV’s second golden age began at the beginning of this century when, again, advancing technology made the old rulebooks irrelevant. This past decade has seen the rise of cable series, TV-on-DVD, PVRs, on-demand, time shifting, online streaming, bittorrent, video iPods and high definition.

Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins split after 23 years
Susan Sarandon (A WORLD APART, SEARCH FOR TOMORROW) and Tim Robbins, the Hollywood duo often cited as proof that happy monogamy doesn't require wedding vows, are a couple no more. Sarandon's publicist said the unmarried actors separated over the summer after 23 years together. She did not elaborate.

EDITOR'S NOTE: From our own Hollywood Insider, Nelson Aspen, "While the split after more than two decades comes as a surprise in itself, it's not a shocker to those who have witnessed some of his off-screen attention to younger members of the fairer sex."
