GREY'S Most Expensive Scripted 30-Second Ad This Fall

NBC's SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL is the most-expensive fall program for advertisers for the second year in a row, with a 30-second ad commanding an average of $339,700, according to an Advertising Age survey of media buying firms. GREY'S ANATOMY is the most expensive scripted program.

Below is a list of the primetime soaps and their rates for a 30-second spot. What's interesting is that some shows have fewer viewers but are more expensive. In some casse (like GOSSIP GIRL and ONE TREE HILL), a show with fewer viewers including the key demos still commands more money than a show with more viewers.

GREY'S ANATOMY $240,462
DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES $228,851
FLASHFORWARD $175,724
PRIVATE PRACTICE $175,450
BROTHERS & SISTERS $140,445
THE GOOD WIFE $126,882
EASTWICK $110,558
UGLY BETTY $65,055
GOSSIP GIRL $59,316
ONE TREE HILL $55,636
90210 $53,605
MELROSE PLACE $49,019
