In today's "Indie Soap Beat" report I called GUIDING LIGHT star Crystal Chappell (who is celebrating a birthday today) "beautiful, talented, and apparently more savvy than a number of daytime network execs."We can now add "trendy" to the list. #crystalchappell is one of the current "Trending Topics" on Twitter, a small list of most-used topics on the very popular website. She currently sits between Kim Jong-il and AT&T.
Ms. Chappell's loyal fans have been including "#crystalchappell" in their tweets today and it has paid off. Congratulations to Ms. Chappell as well as the fans.

ReplyDeleteFun, out of the box, and definitely 21st century savvy. GL may be ending, but you haven't heard the last from this crowd -- we're upending fandom and shaking it by its feet.
We all know she can act, and yes she's gorgeous. But CC's respect and attention to her fans have encouraged our devotion. This group of fans could have really put GL back on the map in daytime, but unfortunately, we won't see that.

CC's birthday is today and we just want her to know she is loved, not just because she is talented and beautiful and intelligent and did I say beautiful. But she brings out the best in the people around her. She draws you in with her charm and her humor and her down to earth realism, and you never want to let her go. We will never let her go. Where CC goes, purple follows:D

Crystal certainly has been smart she is a wonderful actress but she's also went out of her way to reach her fanbase by doing tweeting sessions and actually calling in to do live podcast it just shows how much the Otalia storyline meant to her and I honestly believe thats why she's co creating the Venice series. That and she loves soaps, all soaps shes admitted it you don't hear that often.

Drink! lol's..There are many words that can be used to describe the beautiful, talented and georgous Crystal Chappell,and I'm so happy that Trendy was added tuesday! As the end nears more and more towards GL, I get more saddened that I'll never get to watch Olivia Spencer in an argument with Alan Spaulding or in a hair pulling fight with Reva, or any love scene again. I know you tube will have plenty of video's to watch, but it won't be the same once the light has gone out in Springfield :( I've always been an Olivia fan, but until the Otalia s/l surfaced, I had never been involved in such a community of fans. Thanks to Destini at BPD for giving us a place to come together. Congrats to Crystal for portraying Olivia Spencer for 10 wonderful years! Thank you Crystal for all the interaction with your fans and for sharing the Goose! lol's..We all Love you and will follow you wherever your road leads!
