  1. Barf! Why, oh, why has the world of TV become such garbage?!

If the soap apocalypse comes, is this the kind of crap that will fill daytime TV?

Virtually none of these reality love shows ever result in happy, healthy long term relationships. These shows are the equivalent of train and car wrecks that enable people to watch in horror or schadenfreude!

  2. I agree. But as long as they are cheap to produce and get marginally good ratings, they are going to keep making them.

Someone has to figure out a new soap model to make them more profitable. Once that happens, whether it be a new web soap or an existen soap that maximized profits on TV, the web, on demand, merchandising, etc., others will follow.

  3. Actually, the ex-wife angle on Sabato seems vaguely interesting to me. I guess that makes me trash TV guy.

And I'm surprised that Zucker can be as pregnant as she will be an compete in a triathlon!
