Simin Hashemizadeh, who is well known in the Iranian community, opened her beautiful home last Friday, June 13th to family, friends and supporters of The Larry King Cardiac Foundation to help a cause close to her heart. Hashemizadeh has lost her father to heart failure; her mother had open heart surgery, and her brother has had his share of cardiac problems as well. She is also the owner of the South Pacific Surgery Center in Encino and newly opened South Pacific Surgery Center in Beverly Hills. Hashemizadeh was joined by: Kate Linder (Esther, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS), Steve Valentine, Inna Korobkina, Lady Victoria Hervey, Cheri Shankar of The Humane Society of the United States, Charlie Wilson of the Gap Band, just to name a few… and raised a little bit over $40,000.00 during the evening.
Hashemizadeh gave the very first dinner fundraiser in 2009 for the Larry King Cardiac Foundation, which will establish a more grassroots style benefit than has been given in the past, as stated by Larry King himself. Larry King accompanied by his wife Shawn King, were also among the guests.
