Looking back, I always knew that Crystal was an amazing actress on DAYS. But now, she will arguably be the strongest actress in the cast. Should be very interesting :)
I too can not wait for the storyline to unfold. I love both the characters of Hope and Carly. They both are great in their own unique way. The characters are both strong. The love between Bo and Hope yes is undeniable but the passion and depth of Carly's love was one I couldn't get enough of. In fact I still watch You tube footage of them to this day. The years she was with Peter Reckell and not Robert- Kelker Kelly although he was good as well. The Mayan wedding was great, and the chemistry that Bo and Carly had was unlike any I have ever seen in daytime. It's tough because I love all these characters, but when I read that Crystal Chappell was to return, I will start watching DAYS again as I have stopped over the years since she left.
I too am back to DOOL because of Crystal. I used to be a tried and true Bo and Hope fan. But Bo and Carly have something more. And Hope is SO WHINY now. For crying out loud. And nobody has the face, those pouty lips, the sheer natural beauty and acting skills that Crystal has.
I have stopped watching DOOL, with Carly gone; she brought so much to the show. The love and understanding that she and Bo had with one another, was so real and the passion between them was amazing. DOOL could have put her with anyone and it would have been a successful thing. Without Carly, DOOL is just a children's show, really.
So many great moments. Who's Hope again? ;)
