Ed Bauer returned to GUIDING LIGHT today and it was wonderful to see the character back on the canvas. Peter Simon returned to the role he's played on and off since 1981. Ed has been sorely missed on the GL canvas the past few years.
Many actors have played Ed over the years including Robert Gentry, Mart Hulswit (my personal favorite) and Richard Van Vleet. Ed has had many wonderful relationships over the years including with Leslie (Rick's mother), Holly, Rita and, of course, Maureen.
