Amazingly, this press conference didn't happen during GUIDING LIGHT here in New York and ruin Ed's return. The network and local affiliate have had a bad habit of spoiling several wonderful GL moments this year.

Yes, technically we did know, that is, if you pay attention. Last night when I heard the President would speak at 12:30 it was sort of a no brainer daytime would be interupted. Someone need to get their priorities in order IMO.
ReplyDeleteAlso, he did not speak for 5 min about smoking. LOL Geesh, he was just answering questions and then showed some annoyance that the question seemed to be more about him that the issue at hand which he put back on track.
He was answering a question but he did spent five minutes talking about smoking saying he's 95% "cured" and doesn't do it around his family. I don't consider that breaking news at all. As a person who can't stand being around smoke, it was extra annoying for me.
ReplyDeleteSomtimes these press conferences are important and there is news or a statement to be made, but once the Q&A starts it tends to become a waste of time for viewers.
