Look Who's Coming to Genoa City

Michael Logan has the latest scoop on Y&R in the print edition of the TV Guide this week as well as at TVGuideMagazine.com:

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS is about to be touched by an angel. On Monday and Tuesday (May 18–19), actress and minister Della Reese—now officially known as the Rev. Dr. Della Reese Lett—appears at Cane and Lily’s wedding in the role of Great Aunt Virginia. While there, she drops quite a bombshell: Virginia hands a letter to Devon (Bryton McClure) revealing that his birth father—whom Devon thought had abandoned him—never even knew that he existed. That’ll send the young hero on a quest to locate his pop.

Also look for David Lago to return to Y&R in the role that won him an Emmy: heartbreak kid Raul Guittierez. Last seen in 2004, Raul supposedly went away to college, but when he unexpectedly pops back into town in the May 23 cliffhanger, he pulls Mac (Clementine Ford) into a sizzling kiss. We later learn the two had an affair while doing aid work in Darfur. The news shatters Billy (Billy Miller), who’s in love with Mac, but it gets worse for the poor dude: On May 25, Raul will pop the question.
