Where To Catch Today's Shows Tonight

Here's a rundown of where to find your soaps in the evening. These are the typical places I look for a show I missed. Some of the websites have not yet added today's episodes. The times seem to vary. MSN is usually the first of the online sites to load the new episodes of the CBS shows around 6pm ET. Y&R seems to be available in the most places including the CBS YouTube Channel and SOAPnet.

The network and show websites usually have daily recaps and highlights. Of course you can find most of these shows "unoffically" on YouTube. You can also watch classic ANOTHER WORLD, ATWT and GL on Hulu.com and classic RYAN'S HOPE on SOAPnet.

  1. Bravo, bravo, bravo!!!

It used to irritate me so much when Carolyn Hinsey would complain, say after a major pre-emption, or when a Nuke kiss was not publicized, that there was "no way" for viewers to catch it. Ah, sadness, the moment was lost forever.

Yeah....in 1985. In the modern era, a pre-emption is still irritating, but it really isn't very important.

However, yours is the best organized list of "other ways of watching" I have seen. You should make it a recurring sidebar feature or something.

Since many of your readers are Canadian, you might want to note that Global TV in Canada streams Y&R and DOOL for Canadians. The Canadian URL is:

    http://yr.globaltv.com

I do not know the DOOL URL.

You continue to be the standard bearer of the evolution of soap media!
