Swoosie Kurtz comes to Wisteria Lane
According to insiders, Kurtz will appear in episode 17 of the current fifth season. Episode 14 airs this Sunday, so Kurtz's episode should air sometime in March. She is going to play a potential love interest for someone on Wisteria Lane.

INTERVIEW: Y&R's Eric Braeden (Victor)
On the firing of Don Diamont: "I was very sad about that, to be quite frank with you. He did some of his best work in the last months, where he played the ‘shifty’ guy and the bad guy and you don’t know quite what he is up to. I think he played that extremely well. I always think that’s a mistake to let people go that have been part of the fabric as long as he has been. Furthermore, he was related to people on the show, and personally, I think those things are a mistake. If you want to want to save money, then cut down on hiring new actors."

Kelli McCarty does comedy too
Soap actress turned porn star McCarty will now try her hand at comedy. She will take her turn as host of the popular sketch comedy show ACME this Week, Sat. Feb. 7 at 8 pm at the ACME Comedy Theatre.

Doug Allen's ouster back on SAG agenda
David White, interim national executive director of the Screen Actors Guild, has called a special bicoastal national board meeting for Sunday. While the agenda is not officially disclosed, a self-described moderate faction of the guild is expected to use the forum to fire former SAG exec director Doug Allen. For a second time.
