YOUNG AND RESTLESS: Funeral For A Friend
The grande dame of Genoa City, Katherine Chancellor, got an oh-so-grand send-off when she was believed to be dead after a car accident. Even though she's actually alive and kicking — Kay thinks she's Marge, and will be slinging hash at a diner — Y&R brought back a slew of past cast members to pay tribute at her funeral. The returnees and actress Jess Walton (Jill) shared their thoughts with on taping this monumental episode, plus some of their fondest and funniest memories of Jeanne Cooper.

EASTENDERS Larry Lamb speaks about his father on RICHARD AND JUDY
Lamb has candidly spoken out about his relationship with his father, when appearing as a guest on RICHARD AND JUDY. In the show, which airs at 8pm on Tuesday 2nd December on Watch, Lamb describes his father Ronald as "evil".

Lamb describes how similar his EASTENDERS alter ego Archie Mitchell was to his father saying that it was "exactly the sort of trips my father used" and that he "spent a lot of time with a shrink talking about this."

Lamb goes on to say that he confronted his father about it all saying:

"He had wrecked so many people’s lives, including mine, and as I said to him at the time, 'if you want to start playing the truth game with me, now’s not a good time because I’m carrying forty nine years. I remember, forty nine years of it with me, I’ve had you for forty nine years. And if you want to hear the truth boy you’re going to hear the truth, so just lean off.'"

A return to LIGHT
GUIDING LIGHT is ringing in the New Year with a huge buzz centered on the surprise return in January of Grant Aleksander as Phillip Spaulding, the part he began playing 26 years ago.

This will mark the fourth time Aleksander has acted in the role. When he last appeared, in 2004, it was believed that Phillip had been killed off. Two years later, Phillip was shown to be alive and there have been tantalizing hints since then about a possible reappearance.
