People can see daytime TV actors while helping people gain independence in an annual event presented by Samantha's Friends.
"Passion in Paradise" will be from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club, 7650 Legacy Blvd., Bradenton.
Actors scheduled to attend are Brandon Beemer, Martha Madison and Rachel Melvin and alums Patrika Darbo and Kevin Spirtas from "Days of Our Lives" and Walt Willey from "All My Children."
VIP tickets are $150 (VIP tables for Patrika Darbo, Walt Willey and Kevin Spirtas are sold out), and general admission tickets are $70.
All proceeds will benefit handicap victims to gain basic lifestyle independence with the assistance of a highly trained service canine.
