  1. After the huge sendoff Paige Larson just got from DAYS, the character of Will Horton should get a monthlong goodbye. I would have personally sent Will out of town if I was in charge, but I'm looking forward to seeing the fallout and what happens with Sami, Lucas, Sonny, etc.

    1. I did not like the performance of Guy Wilson as Will, but feel killing off Will is a huge mistake. I honestly was on the fence about whether or not this was a way for DH to get rid of the gay, but after watching I have a strong feeling that this is what it is all about with Will's death. Will didn't even fight for his life! He has a daughter for god's sake! No kicking, no punching, no trying to wrestle so that he could get Ben off him. Ben punched him, ONCE, and then he was just able to strangle Will? BULLSHIT! This is clearly a writer who believes gay men to be a bunch of pussy faggots who would just submit to their own murder. I am totally disgusted!

    2. One more thing, DH is a homophobe! Just looked at her twitter...last post is from some Christian fundamentalist pin interest trash.

    4. BTW, good grammar dictates the use of only one punctuation mark. Where did you go to school?

    5. Agree with you, 21gramofsoul, the evidence that the new writers have an anti-gay agenda is piling up.

    6. Thanks! At least DH does as evidence from her twitter feed.

    7. Who cares what the sexual preferences are of pretend ppl on a show that is make believe. So what if DH is anti gay.. would you judge her if she wasn't a actor? This site is not here to trash ppl or characters of a soap opera. ..
It is for true fans that want to comment on the show not what or who in real life.
I have been watching Days for 30 years. If you don't like DH stop watching it because they are not going to let one of their best actor's go over personal beliefs.

  2. Guy Wilson wasn't great but I thought he would grow into the role. IMO he kept getting worse. Some of it was the writing but most of it was him. Watching Will catch on to Ben today and then get strangled reminded me how little GW was bringing to DAYS in his performance. I look forward to the fallout from this which should resonate with nearly everyone in Salem, and someday Will might return from the dead, like so many others have before, played by a new actor.

Greg Meng is gay, many people at DAYS are gay, I don't believe this decision was motivated by anything other than wanting to get rid of a bad actor and deciding that someone important needed to die during the serial killer story or else it would just be Serena, Paige and Clyde, and nobody would care. Killing will solved both problems. If Chandler was still playing Will I don't believe this would have even been considered.

    1. Why do a serial killer story at all? Like getting rid of a bunch of characters brutally is going to endear you to viewers?

    2. Jr did you not read or hear what Ken Corday said a few months ago....He said after September 1 2015 if you are dead you are staying dead....So there is no chance on resurecting Will in the future

  4. Why did Dena Higley delete all her posts on her two blogs once she was hired at DOOL? Homophobic, Fox News, Christian mess? Read her twitter feed and see what you come away with?

  5. I have been a big fan of Days but I am so displeased with this murdering of Will Horton, I've decided to tune out altogether. It's unnecessary and shortsighted. Not looking forward to Sonny, Sami, Lucas, Kate and Marlena grieving Will's death. Will Horton is practically related to the whole damned town! Done!

  6. It bothers me how badly GW has even trashed online. He has been professional since Day 1. He didn't stand a chance when the writers starting making Will an a-hole. The writing for him was so poor he had no rooting value.

  7. This doesn't make any sense. Will should of been written off and not brutally murdered.. Absolutely disgusting and I cannot wait for Days to be cancelled .. Homophobic writers!! Done with this 156788 reboot the show does and I've been a fan since 1996
