GENERAL HOSPITAL star Genie Francis appeared on KATIE on Thursday afternoon and confirmed that Rachel Ames, who originated the role of Audrey March Hardy in 1964 and was last seen in 2009, will return to the show in conjunction with its 50th anniversary. Ames will first air on March 26.RELATED:

Rachel Ames is a goddess! We recently saw her in an episode of Boris Karloff's THRILLER on MeTV -- she was as fab on that anthology series, even though just starting out! Great news!
Awesome! Hope she mentions Steve Hardy. Audrey is more than just "Gram". Hope she isn;t coming for Steven's funeral.
